Remember the album “Fumbling Towards Ecstasy” by Sarah McLachlan? Dang if that’s not the best title ever.
Usually, we don’t have the foggiest idea where the path may lead us, but that doesn’t mean we shouldn’t step onto it, especially if that ground feels firm and welcoming beneath our feet. When was the last time you let your heart and your spine turn together toward the unknown, with that quiet certainty whispering that everything was going to be okay? What would it take for you to trust yourself to put one foot down, and then the other, even if your cadence was a little wobbly? Because a little wobble is just fine. Your feet know which path will support you. Your heart knows who will be there along the way. It might just be you! But you might meet a kindred spirit! Step in, step in. You got this.
